As soon as anyone tells me I should read a self-help book or listen to a motivational speaker, my eyes roll back into my head and my body convulses. I’m trying to be more open minded to new ideas and ideas the old me didn’t appreciate at the time.
Game changer! My seestur sent me “The Power of One More” by Ed Mylett yesterday and I can’t put the book down. Ed is an entrepreneur and speaker but as he says in the introduction “This is not just a ‘how to succeed in business’ or a ‘how to succeed in your relationships’ book…you should think of this as a ‘how to succeed in life book’. I’m on page 65 and can’t express how much it has already resonated with me. Definitely a book I will re-read and keep close when I need inspiration and a pick me up.
I love you so, so much – thank you Hil, your support, encouragement, and love help get me through the tough times! One day at a time, I’ve got this. P.S. why am I not surprised he’s hot too? Always looking out for me. Hahahaha
