Strength in Women

Today felt like the perfect Sunday when I picture peace and connection to head into my work week. The women’s meeting this morning was packed, and the energy in the room was kinetic. We had an excellent speaker step in last minute, and she shared with such honesty and strength. It makes me so happy that word is spreading about this meeting — it really has become a space where more and more women can come together to share experience, strength, and hope. Looking around at all the beautiful faces and spirits was powerful.

This afternoon, my sponsor and one of my sponsee sisters hosted a yoga sound bath. The studio was new to me, but the whole experience was relaxing and cleansing, almost like a spiritual reset I didn’t even realize I needed. The studio had good vibes and I will definitely be back for some classes.

Later in the evening, I spent close to an hour on the phone with my daughter. Just listening to her tell me about her week, hearing the excitement in her voice about all she’s learning at work, made me happy. I couldn’t stop smiling — inside and out.

Tonight, I feel especially grateful for the women in my life. Whether I connected with them today or simply thought of them, they are a constant reminder of love, support, and growth.
