I had a great dinner last night downtown with a great friend and their family to celebrate birthdays. Downtown Boise is very different at 6 pm and with no intention of getting drunk. It was refreshing, and it was even more refreshing to wake up this morning without a hangover.
I read, made a few bracelets, and then got ready to ride Chevy in the arena before it rained. My daughter and I had stopped by the store on our way. When we were leaving the parking lot, we were rear-ended. Luckily, no one was hurt, and she still had the trailer hitch on the truck so there was no damage to it. Unfortunately, the other vehicle has a big hole in the front bumper.
We decided to rain-check the horse ride and head to the rehab alumni’s monthly social event. We painted along to a Bob Ross tutorial recording. It was a great turnout, and we had fun. It would not have been complete without the Bob Ross T-shirts and people wearing wigs. The man makes it look so easy – it’s not. Sobriety is a walk in the park in comparison.
I’m grateful today that my daughter spent time with my friends and I today.
