I stepped outside my comfort zone tonight and chaired the women’s meeting — something I rarely do, greeting is my jam. With a hectic workday, I completely forgot until I got the reminder just two hours before the meeting. It happened to be an open discussion week, and I hadn’t come with a topic. Whoops!
When in doubt, I turned to the Daily Reflections book — and wouldn’t you know, today’s message was exactly what we needed. It was grounding, honest, and unexpectedly perfect. The meeting turned into something really special. I was surrounded by courageous women who shared their experience, strength, and hope. I left feeling grateful, inspired, and reminded that things don’t have to be perfect to be powerful.
