Proof of Progress

This week has been nonstop. Work is ramping up with the summer homebuying season in full swing. It feels good to be busy — like I’m useful, like I’m contributing — but mentally, I’m tapped out. My brain is done for the week, and I’m ready for a couple of days to rest, reset, and just breathe.

I’m looking forward to the alumni meeting tonight. Those meetings always help me recenter and reconnect with what really matters. It’s easy to get swept up in the demands of work and forget how far I’ve come. Tonight is a reminder that I’m not alone, that this path I’m on is shared, and that healing happens in community.

After that, I’m planning to sit by the fire pit at home and just be. No expectations, no pressure — just stillness and warmth. I need that.

I got some great news from my insurance company today. It brought such a wave of relief. It’s not just about paperwork or finances — it’s about the bigger picture. It’s proof that I’m cleaning up the mess from my past, one step at a time. There’s a feeling of closure starting to take shape. I can finally see progress — not just feel it in small ways, but actually witness the consequences of my past actions getting resolved. That’s a big deal.

Grateful for this moment. Grateful to be clear-headed enough to feel all of this. Grateful for the chance to keep showing up and moving forward.
