I like making people smile. It makes me smile too and genuinely happy. I handed out Valentine’s Day cards and suckers at work today. I know it’s a day early but wasn’t sure who would be able to make it in tomorrow with all the snow we got today and are supposed to be getting in the next 24 hours. It was great to see smiles on everyone’s faces.
I had dinner at a Thai restaurant I’ve been wanting to try because of the reviews and ads. The food was delicious and very authentic. I’ll definitely be going back. If for nothing else, the homemade Thai coconut milk ice cream over sticky rice is worth fighting traffic for.
I feel good today. Content and happiness. Most nights I reflect on the day and decide how to push myself the next day to do more and do better. Tonight, I’m allowing myself to only be present in the moment and be grateful for what I have because it’s rare that I do this. There will be plenty of time tomorrow morning to start the daily list of what I want to accomplish and what I want to do better than I did today. It feels good to feel good mentally, emotionally, and physically.
