Still Clueless

There’s nothing better than a date with a good friend at a good restaurant. This week, through the daily readings, I’ve felt like there’s a lesson about the spiritual axiom they keep referencing that I’m missing — and it’s been bothering me that I can’t quite see what it is. Fear and anger come to mind, and the list of lessons I still have to learn around those two issues is a long one.

Even after talking it over during lunch, I’m still not sure what I’m missing. I’m trying not to be impatient, trusting that the message will come when I’m ready to hear it. I have a feeling that when my Higher Power decides I’ve had enough of the subtle hints, the lesson will hit me like a brick to the face — in the best kind of “aha” way.
